Curro

Join the Beta

Last updated August 24, 2026
This is a TestFlight beta for Curro's new collaborative features — live shared timing sessions, tagging teammates into workouts, and syncing your log across devices. It's ahead of the public App Store release, so expect rough edges, and please send feedback our way.

What's New in the Beta

Solo timing and your local workout log work exactly as they always have — no account needed. Signing in unlocks the new collaborative layer: live synced timing sessions across multiple devices, tagging teammates by @handle to share a workout with them, weekly mileage tracking, and manually-logged personal bests.

How to Join

Beta access is through Apple's TestFlight app. Tap the link below on your iPhone (installing TestFlight first if you don't already have it), then install Curro from there.

Giving Feedback

Found a bug, or have a suggestion? Email [email protected] — beta feedback directly shapes what ships next.

Beta Privacy Policy

This section applies specifically to the TestFlight beta and its new account-based features. It's separate from and more detailed than the standard Curro privacy policy, which still accurately describes the app when you're not signed in.

Information We Collect

If you create an account (via Google, Apple, or email sign-in), we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to claim one — a @handle. If you don't sign in, none of this applies; solo timing and your local log collect nothing at all.

Data Storage

Signed out, everything works exactly as in the standard app: all data stays on your device only. Signed in, your workout data, profile info, and any shared or tagged workouts sync to Google Firebase (Firestore) so they're available across your devices and can be shared with teammates you tag.

Who Can See What

Your own workouts are visible only to you unless you tag someone into one. Tagging a workout by @handle shares that specific workout — and only that workout — with the person you tagged; they can then see and edit it like their own. Live timing sessions are visible to everyone who joins using that session's code. You can mark your account "Private" in Settings, which prevents anyone else from tagging you.

Third-Party Services

The beta uses Google Firebase for account authentication and data storage, and Sign in with Apple / Google for sign-in, if you choose those options. Curro does not use any advertising or analytics SDKs.

Children's Privacy

Curro is not directed at children, and the beta's account features are intended for coaches and athletes managing their own accounts. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at the address below and we'll remove it.

Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings within the app. If you're not signed in, deleting the app removes everything, exactly as in the standard version.

Changes to This Policy

As the beta evolves, this page will be updated to reflect it, and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
